Outlook Express 6

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Go to Tools followed by Accounts.
3. Click on the Mail tab, select your email account, click the properties button
   
   
   
   
4. Click the server tab on the properties screen, and place a check mark on the outgoing mail server "My server requires authentication"
   
   
   
   
5. Click Ok, Click Close, and you are done.

Windows Mail (Micosoft Windows Vista)

1. Open Windows Mail.
2. Go to Tools followed by Accounts.
3. Select your email account, click the properties button
   
   
   
   
4. Click the servers tab on the properties screen, and place a check mark on the outgoing mail server "My server requires authentication"
   
   
   
   
5. Click Ok, Click Close, and you are done.
